June Update

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” | Psalm 103:1-2 |

As we travel this summer, we are working on memorizing Psalm 103. This Psalm is a great reminder to reflect on the benefits and goodness of the Lord! One way that God has shown His goodness is through His care for us. This past week we found out that we needed to purchase new tires for our vehicle. This was unexpected to us, but not to the Lord. He provided new tires through the generosity of an individual supporter.

Another area of provision is through new supporters: a new individual supporter and a new partnering church. At the beginning of the month, we learned that our needed amount of support was increasing due to the baby. The combination of our new supporters allowed our current support level to remain the same, rather than dropping. This is a tremendous blessing! We’ve also had several gifts given towards our Outgoing Expenses, bringing that level to 20%. We are continually humbled by God’s provision and the partnership of His people!

We had an exciting month of June, beginning with VBS at Brunswick Community Church in Illinois. We participated in Brunswick’s Missions Conference in March, and we are so thankful for the opportunity to build more relationships with the people! We were also able to spend time with our home church in Greenville. As always, our hearts were encouraged by the fellowship with our church family and friends! They were an extra blessing to us by throwing a baby shower for Lisa, even collecting funds to purchase a car seat for us! We are thankful for our church family and how they continually surround us with love.

We are currently in Illinois, on our way to Faribault, MN for a meeting. Next Monday morning we will head to Bass Lake Camp in Winnebago, MN where we will be serving for two weeks. Jeff will be the missionary speaker for both weeks. We also have the opportunity to assist with music and games. After camp, we will have a week of vacation with Jeff’s family, followed by a meeting in Richfield, MN.

We have a lot of miles to cover, so please pray for safety as we travel, as well as good health. Please pray for fruitful meetings this month – that we would have encouraging fellowship and that the Lord would help us to minister effectively to these brothers and sisters. Thank you for your faithful prayers and partnership!

Praise and Prayer:

1. Praise: God’s continued provision

2. Praise: Good week of VBS

3. Praise: Encouraging time with church family

4. Pray: Safety and good health

5. Pray: Fruitful meetings this month

About Us

Our hearts are burdened for the Ecuadorian people who have never heard the Gospel, people who have been blinded by traditions and customs. We hope to reach these people with the love of Christ. Our desire is to build the church by evangelizing the lost, making disciples and training leaders.
