2018 Review

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. ~ Colossians 2:6-7 ~

The start of a new year brings with it many hopes, expectations and plans. As we face these avenues in 2019, it is our prayer that we would be rooted and built up in Christ. What a comfort to know that He is our firm foundation! We are so thankful that we can confidently sink our roots deeply into Him.

We are so thankful for the many things God has done in 2018!

  • January - Jeffrey's Ordination

  • February - Beginning of full-time deputation

  • April - Survey Trip and Field Conference

  • September - Addition of Simon

  • 22 Meetings/24,027 miles traveled

  • 57% of monthly support raised

Where we are headed!

On Wednesday we are visiting a supporting church in West Virginia. From there we travel to our mission's home office in Lawrenceville, GA for some training in evangelism, culture and language. We will also have a meeting to develop a strategic plan for Ecuador. Then we are looking forward to spending time with our home/sending church. For our full itinerary, please click HERE.

Calling All Prayer Warriors!

Simon has colic, which causes him to be extra fussy, sometimes crying for hours at a time. This adds extra stress to traveling and our meetings. Simon will be with us during our training sessions at BMW; please pray that he will recover quickly so we can glean as much from the training as possible. Another prayer item is that he will travel well. By the end of our 2018 travels, he developed a great dislike of his car seat. We know that our God is able to take care of all these things. Please pray that we will trust God's care and timing in this area. Our desire is for Colossians 2:6-7 to be true in us and that we will abound in Thanksgiving!

Praise and Prayer:

1. Praise: Christ is our firm foundation 2. Praise: 57% of monthly support 3. Pray: For Simon to travel well 4. Pray: Fruitful time of training and team planning

About Us

Our hearts are burdened for the Ecuadorian people who have never heard the Gospel, people who have been blinded by traditions and customs. We hope to reach these people with the love of Christ. Our desire is to build the church by evangelizing the lost, making disciples and training leaders.
