Fruit that Increases - April 2019

Updated: Aug 29, 2019

"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:19

In the past month, God has provided us with several new financial ministry partners! By God’s grace, we are at 73% of our monthly support! We can only humbly praise the Lord! We are also thankful for our ministry partners. In Philippians 4:14-19, Paul writes to the Philippian church about their ministry partnership. While, he demonstrates appreciation for their giving, he also rejoices in the fruit that “increases to their credit.” As churches and individuals partner with us, they invest in the Gospel ministry in Ecuador. God will reward this investment. Paul says that these gifts are “a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God.” He ends by saying (as do we) “To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. AMEN.” We give praise and glory to God for His work.

As we reflect on the past month, it is hard to believe we traveled so much. We drove from Kansas to Massachusetts to North Carolina to South Carolina. As we covered many miles (over 3,300), God showed His mighty hand of protection and enabling grace!

We participated in a tremendous Missions Conference at Church of the Open Bible. The preaching at the conference was excellent, the music was uplifting and we met so many delightful people. We had many opportunities to share the 4World Initiative, and we benefited from wonderful fellowship! The following week, we had the pleasure of visiting Bethany Baptist Church in North Carolina. The pastor and his wife were an encouragement to us, and we enjoyed reconnecting with some old friends. We praise the Lord for the opportunity to share our burden with this body of believers.

We had the privilege of spending time at our church at the end of the month, including Good Friday and Easter. What a blessing this was for us! We were able to spend several days with our pastor and his wife. It is always a joy for us to learn from them, and we appreciate their willingness to mentor us and share their wisdom from many years of ministry.

Our church family refreshed and encouraged us through their care and fellowship. As we have traveled to different meetings and conferences, several churches have noted the evident support and involvement of our sending church. What a blessing! We are so thankful for our church family and for our Ropeholders who diligently pray for us.

For May, our meetings are all in the same general area (southeast Pennsylvania). This is a tremendous blessing because it means we only have to travel on Sundays and Wednesdays. The Lord has also given us the opportunity to house-sit for someone. We are so thankful that we can unpack our bags for a whole month.

Please be in prayer for our meetings this month. We have already been encouraged through our correspondence with the various churches, and we look forward to meeting these brothers and sisters! Our desire is that we will be an encouragement and a blessing as we share our burden for Ecuador. For our full itinerary in the upcoming months, please click HERE.

Thank you for your faithful prayers for us. We praise the Lord for you!

Praise and Prayer:

1. Praise: Increased support (73%).

2. Praise: Ability to be at home church for Easter.

3. Praise: Opportunity to have meetings in the same area for May.

4. Pray: That we would be a blessing to the churches we visit.

5. Pray: Continued scheduling From August-December.

About Us

Our hearts are burdened for the Ecuadorian people who have never heard the Gospel, people who have been blinded by traditions and customs. We hope to reach these people with the love of Christ. Our desire is to build the church by evangelizing the lost, making disciples and training leaders.
