“And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

This month’s prayer emphasis focuses on coworkers. You may remember the 4World Initiative includes 5 cities where we have contacts who are asking for someone to come and teach them the Bible. Currently, the Ecuador group consists of 4 families or, 2 teams. Our desire is to have a team of at least 2 families in each city. The fields are plenteous and ready for harvest in Ecuador, but we need more laborers. Please pray with us – that God will provide more workers for the field of Ecuador!
August has been a heavy travel month for us. We have not had as many meetings in regard to presenting the ministry, but we have had lots of miles for some personal travel. We began with a new meeting in Rock Hill SC. This was an encouraging church for us too because of the interest in our ministry.
This is the first church where there are people who expressed interest in joining the ministry. We even met a gentleman from Ecuador; in fact, he is from the town where Jeff spent 8 years of his life! Pray that God would direct these people to where He wants them! We are not asking you to pray that they only go to Ecuador, but that the Lord leads them and makes His will evident.
From there we continued to another meeting in Salem, NH. We greatly enjoyed the fellowship at that church. There were many people that Jeffrey knew from when he was a young boy. It was nice to see and reconnect with them. The end of the month was a time to visit a supporting church and see family, perhaps for the last time. Please pray that we plan out our goodbyes well. This is a hard thing to do and often times is avoided, but there needs to be a designated time to say goodbye. So, as we are visiting churches and family, we are preparing ourselves for these goodbyes.
This month has been an encouraging month because once again, we have been able to watch and see how the Lord has provided for us. God has provided 100% of our monthly support. We also have 80% of our outgoing expenses. God is our JEHOVA-JIREH. We are so thankful for how He has provided churches and individuals to partner with us!
While we are at full support, there is still much traveling that we are doing over the next two months. We will be visiting two new churches for meetings, in addition to visiting several supporting churches for the purpose of visiting them before we go to Language School in January. We may also be visiting some for the last time before we go to Ecuador.
Please pray for us as we prepare for Language School. We are excited to settle down for a few months without traveling, but this will be a new phase of life and ministry for us. We are asking that God will prepare our hearts for this next step, and that He will help us to remain steadfast in Him. For our full itinerary, please click HERE.
